Doylestown Main Street Sidewalk Project Starts Monday — What to Expect
Two blocks of State Street will see phased closures through June; merchants get alternate loading windows.
Borough crews will begin concrete replacement on State Street between Main and Court streets on Monday, May 19. The work is scheduled in two-week segments so restaurants can keep evening service on the open block.
Parking on the north side will shift to the municipal lot behind the county courthouse after 4 p.m. weekdays. Delivery trucks for grocers and cafes have a 6–8 a.m. window on the closed block — details are posted on the borough’s traffic page.
The Wire will update this brief if rain delays the pour. For official detour maps, BucksCounty.info’s Doylestown hub carries the PDF the borough emailed to property owners last week.
